What's required to book a session?
Fill out the inquiry form, then book a Session Call so we can connect, confirm your session, and get everything locked in. Your date is officially booked once your agreement is signed and your 50% non-refundable booking payment is received, an inquiry alone doesn't hold your date. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your session (5–7 days before for events).
How many images will I receive?
Each session includes a set number of final edited images · 10 for The Snapshot, 20 for The Brand Edit, and 35 for The Full Capture. You'll receive a proof gallery within 5–7 business days to select your favorites. Need more? Additional images can be purchased.
How long until I receive my photos?
Standard turnaround is 5–7 business days from your session. You'll receive a proof gallery to select your favorites, and your final edited images shortly after. Need them faster? Rush delivery is available for an additional fee · inquire for availability and pricing.
Can I use my images on social media and for marketing?
Yes. You receive a limited copyright release for personal and professional marketing use · websites, social media, print, and digital collateral. For paid ads, brand sponsorships, or publishing, an additional licensing fee applies. Please inquire.
What is your cancellation and reschedule policy?
Booking payments are non-refundable, they reserve your date and cover prep work already in motion. Need to reschedule? Just give at least 48 hours notice and we'll confirm a new date together. Cancellations within 24 hours of the session are subject to the remaining balance.
What if I'm running late?
Session time starts at the scheduled time, so try to be punctual. Arriving late will shorten your shooting time rather than extend the session, unless additional time is available and purchased.
Do I get the raw, unedited files?
For photography sessions, you'll receive your final edited gallery, unedited photos and project files aren't included. For In the Moment, both options include the full curated collection of clips from your session, lightly trimmed and organized, never every raw recording. Capture + Create adds one edited Reel on top of that same collection.
Can I request revisions or extra retouching?
Every image comes with my standard editing and color correction. If you'd like deeper retouching, object removal, or additional edits beyond that, just ask, it's available for a small added fee.
Do I need permission from anyone else appearing in my session?
Yes. If your session includes clients, employees, models, vendors, or guests, you're responsible for confirming their participation and permission beforehand, unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.
Can I keep my session private?
JZT Photographie may use selected images and video for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes. Please disclose any privacy or confidentiality needs before booking so usage arrangements can be confirmed in writing.
What if my session runs over the scheduled time?
If we need more time and I'm available to stay, additional coverage can be added at my current hourly rate.
What happens if there's bad weather or an emergency?
If severe weather or a true emergency comes up on either side, we'll reschedule together with no extra fee, your booking payment carries over to the new date.
Do you do posing and creative direction?
I guide the story, not the pose. My style is candid and go-with-the-flow · I capture you as you are, in action, doing what you do. I'll direct the shot list, the moments, and what needs to be captured, but I won't have you holding stiff poses. If you want natural, real, in-the-moment energy with intention behind it, you're in the right place.
Do I need a real client or event for my session?
No. Your session can happen during a real appointment or event, or it can be intentionally created. We can work with an actual client, a model, a friend, or family member to demonstrate your process and capture the moments your audience needs to see. Either way, I help plan the story, direct the action, and build a full library of content for your brand.
Do you shoot weddings?
Not full weddings. If you're an event vendor, photographer, bartender, DJ, decorator, caterer, florist, or planner, and you want content of yourself working at a wedding, event, shoot, or anything else, that's something I can do. Inquire directly with your details and we'll go from there.
Do you offer video?
Yes. Real time video capture is available through In the Moment, with two options: Capture It ($150) gets you the full curated collection of clips to edit and post yourself, and Capture + Create ($250) includes that same collection plus one edited, ready-to-post Reel. This is also available as an add-on to any photography session · mention it in your inquiry and we'll build it in.
Where are you based and do you travel?
Based in DFW · and yes, that's intentional. I do travel for sessions, both locally and beyond, for a fee. Sessions within 15 miles are always complimentary. For locations beyond 15 miles within the greater DFW area, a flat travel fee of $50 applies. For anywhere beyond that · other cities, other states, other countries · inquire for a custom travel quote.
Can you shoot at a studio?
Yes. If you want a studio session, you'll book and pay for the studio directly · but I'll help you find the right one for your vision and budget and guide you through the process. Just mention it in your inquiry and we'll figure it out together.

Do you cover events?
Yes. I offer story-driven photography and real-time content coverage for business events, launches, conferences, church gatherings, community events, vendors, and creative experiences. My focus is capturing the atmosphere, branded details, people in action, meaningful interactions, and content that can be used after the event. I do not currently offer full wedding photography.
